After selling my Mongoose 
this winter, I've been in need of an actually get somewere and deal with traffic bike. My buildoff bike is great for the rail trail but with 1 tallish gear and no front brake, it's kind of a 1-trick pony. I shrank the gear back down with the stock front ring on my "Pachwinn"( :lol: ), making it easier to ride, but the short front loop only works for casual bolt upright riding or minor "klunking". Since Droppy already got gears last year, and I already had the stuff needed for setup, other than a seat post, back to rider status he goes. Got lucky at a local shop 
and got an old used double thick long post 8) . Had to stick an old Schwinn handlebar on Mr. Goodyear, it works just fine. :mrgreen:
