I figured that I'd start a page for my nonamecustoms build....and I'd start with a picture of it on Jay's shop floor before he packs it up to send it to California.

I'm not sure how many he's going to build in the future...but he built this one and another at the same time. It didn't sound like he has built many recently...I think I got lucky because he had two to build at once.

I think his main focus is still road/mtb frames.

I own one of Jays Joker frames. Best bike investment ever. Rides true and was a dream to work on. Built it out with a modified pair of his clip on bars, Surley Large Marge wheels, Felt Slick Brick/Thick Brick rubber and a Shimano internal 7 with suicide style shift beneath the seat. Finish is Silver Vein powder coat. Problem is, I lost track of Jay since the site disappeared, and really wanted a T5 frame for another project. Do you have a record of his current email or the URL to his MB Frame site?

Will gladly post a pic if anyone is interested.

Stantlins frame is the newer model with the additional arch. Nice detail. Mine is three years ridden now and still remains my every day ride. Enjoy your build ... Jay makes an awesome frame! Thanks to aka_locojoe for the link. I need to get a note off and plead my case for another custom frame.

I just got back from a week at the beach with the new bike....absolutely a blast to ride....and got all kinds of looks and comments...especially from the nytro lyrca folks in encinitas....

I'll post some pictures of it as soon I get them off the camera.

Just a short summary ....I ended up using an electra three speed wheelset....cream rims...red spokes...26 x 2.125 retro runner white walls...I painted the frame cherry red (used a rattle can because of the lack of time....it will be getting powder coated soon...brown seat and grips....triple clamp fork....28 inch wide bars.

I'm definitely looking at adding wood fenders in the future.

Well....I had every intention of posting pictures from the week at the beach....but...every picture I know I took seems to have been mysteriously overwritten with pictures from the 2009 Comic Con where my daughter borrower my camera.

I'll take some more of the finished bike and post them.

Are the Nitro lyrica folks the people with bad hearts that have to stop at every restroom kinda people? :D

Here's some pictures of my NoNameCustom Joker v2...now with a 7 speed nexus rear hub...26 x 80 mm rims with 26 x 3 kenda flames, and powdercoated candy apple red.

There's still a lot of work to do before summer.....

nice to see another no name build here.....one thing i hope you know about is the bottom brackets are prone to break on that frame since its just one piece of tubing holding all that force and they werent gusseted or reinforced at all....now with that said......
great looking bike!

Stantlin, that bike is the whole reason my KRUSH bike turned out as nice as it did.i was riding the lowered monark in downtown during hine and show. i was riding my rusty shakey p.o.s. and my mom saw your bike and straight up told me "his bike makes yours look like the biggest load of crud ever, you better fix it" lo and behold! haha. like it alot
