New schwinn stingray chopper bikes?????

good or bad investment???? i like the style and ride but are they frowned upon to other rat bikers??? i most defienetly wont leave one stock paint. let me know your opinions???????

the Style is pretty good, but the long rake and fork make it a handful to ride, plus they aren't too comfy for adults.

They're kinda hard to ride in stock form, and weigh twice as much as a regular steel bike.

They really need the seat moved back, longer bars, and probably bigger tires to make them ridable as a regular cruiser.

You could make one very ridable with a cheap 24" - 26" set of wheels, and strip everything you don't need off of it. The only thing is that if you go to a 24" rear wheel, you can't use the stock brakes, so you'd need a coaster/disk/drum hub to ride it.
