Stumped on this one. I am working on a "new" 2000-ish Panther, trying to fit a repop Phantom chainguard. The bike is mostly done except for this one hassle. The OEM crank is square taper (SS, 42t, 110BCD), but there isn't enough clearance between the chainring and arm to clear the chainguard. Any ideas on where to find a mild "dogleg" crank, hopefully with a modern-ish integrated BB interface (square taper or ISIS)? The wide "motorized " cranks I see seem crazy wide. I have seen a few downhill cranks that might clear, but they hardly look ratty. Ideas?

Think I figured it out last night... I can mount the chainring on the opposite side of the spider with some machine bushing spacers, and find a wider bottom bracket cartridge.
