Hi everyone, it's an honor to be on board. I'm into a lot of old stuff from automobiles to watches and toys. Been restoring Japanese nostalgic cars since 1994 and used to compete in downhill bike racing way back when suspension on a mountain bike was unheard of. Finally got around to building a ride I could use for going from point A to B after I got hold of an old Hawthorne frame, fork and seat. The idea was to build a bike that looked old, but was practical and easy to use at the same time. Unfortunately I haven't come around to taking any pics of it as I work full time. Found this site almost by accident and was immediately hooked. Hopefully I could learn from the resident gurus here.
