Picked this up today merely for the style of the frame. The only marking on it is Meteor Flite on the chainguard. The top tubes & chainguard look alot like my Sears.
EDIT: I just realized you cant see the top tubes in the pic......They're double small tubes like the Sears.
They're cousins! Both Murray frames of similar year (mid-60s). Murray of Ohio supplied Sears with most of their frames from the 40s onward. The Sears is likely a Flightliner and the Meteor Flite was actually the Murray badge of essentially the same bicycle.
my newest bike is an old Murray. late 50's, early 60's vintage. that double-tube thing must have been their design. i think they look cool.
that girls' bike has great lines, build it up.
