I picked up 'my' first muscle bike 11 years ago, before we had any kids.
Now both my boys have been riding it, and outgrown it. Your son will be riding it before you know it.

Well just to add to the kids on bikes subject, my daughter, that will turn two next week has been offered her first bike one week ago (the one her mother rode when she was a kid herself, preserved and fine tuned by my father in law), and she's figured out how to pedal and all, well ride that is, in half an hour !!
And now I'm being jealous of my daughter's tires !!! (2,125" wide, and cream white, 30 years old and still mint !) ahahahahahah
And the bike's a french Gitane, fire-squad-red !
