Just a few images of my walk today. It was a long one and it was REALLY cold. But it was sunny. :D

I found a posting along the walking/bike path that I thought was interesting. Orillia used to have a bicycle club called the Knights of the Wheel... Here's the picture on the information post.

The path ends where two lakes meet at the narrows. This is an old railroad bridge that ends the path. It's turned to allow large boats to pass along the narrows. It's left like this permanently nowadays because the train tracks are long gone... :(

Some spots along the beach got a little breezy but other than that not too bad. I have been trying to find more information about the bicycle group. I am fascinated because the group was created when bikes were just a recent invention. I'm curious to find out how long the group lasted and what happened to those old bikes. Maybe a museum in the area? I'm going to try the public library sometime soon to see what I can find out.
