My son and I scored this raleigh fireball today. It looks to be in real nice condition and original. The rear hub says 68, so does that mean the bike is a 68?
Can someone tell me a ballpark value on this?

I doubt a hub made in 68 made it onto a bike that year, but possible!
Need really to research the serial number.

Nice find! I use to have a '68 3 speed myself. Mine was rougher than yours and I sold it a couple years ago for $115. My buddy's also has a black 3 speed, but he tore it apart and never put it back together...

SA Hub dating is a decent ballpark. The bike is probably a 68 or 69.
There is a lot of coolness in that bike. What's the smaller stick shift for? Show us more photos.

Looks to me like the value is probably $400-500. Here is one that doesn't have the correct seat of the second shifter that sold for $380. And it was just a three speed.

Looks like that is a 5 speed Twinshift shifter. The seat and sissy bar alone sold for $112 on ebay recently.

Cool bike. I agree with Kingfish it should go for 400 to 500. I sold one for 350 a few years ago. Nice to see a local score too.
