I am doing a bent back seat post but I don't have a bender yet so it will be a cut and weld job.
Color will be fotina, Sea foam green with reddish brown sanded through.

Taillight came in. Will need to build a bracket to hold it. Not sure how I'm going to get this light to work. I only has one wire....

Time to order my seat!

I would take the OG forks. cut them at the stem and rotate them a little to add a couple inches to the wheel base but keeping the look of the rigid front end...

Like bike, turning out real nice. 3 1/2" cranks suck to be sure. You lose all power on the take off and its hilarious looking when going full speed, hills are no fun either. I had a low rider stretch that I finally broke down and put triple tree fork on because I got tired of struggling over the inter coastal bridge.

haha I just imagined what you were saying lol
Good thing I live in FL. Oh wait, you do to! lol
This will only be taken to shows and meets. It won't get ridden all that much.

Well I've decided I'm not gonna chance it and I'll be cutting the lower front bar off to reposition it so I can move the crank to the front of the bike. I think I'll look better and this way I know it'll be ride able.

lol I'll smooth it out a little but I don't think I have enough there to bend it over.

I'm not gonna mess with the crank being only a 1/2 inch from the ground so I cut the lower bar and moved it down. I don't have a pipe bender so I used pie cuts to bend the bottom half and slid a small but thicker tube inside.

Now I need to finish grinding down the welds, had a little putty and I have a smaller bar I want to run across the middle.
All for now!

I a in Deerfield Beach. I hear you. All these guys live in the midwest where they can score minor rusted bikes for $20. Here .... looks like it has 50 yrs of rust in a week and everyone wants $$$$$ for there bikes. It's crazy which is why I customize all mine, lol.
