I was riding my Schwinn today and my Electra Bullet headlight broke off! The mounting arm snapped right in two at the bend where it bolts to the bike. I did get my money back from the LBS so that was cool. Anyone else have this happen? Is there a better retro style headlight to get? I would want black. I hate to go modern but the LBS did have a little black flashlight style that was pretty cool. Had 9 leds and a quick release mount.

wow that is rare i sell a lot of lights and have not seen one do that. did you bend the bracket at all when you installed it? i bend them all the time and still have not had one fail. that was really cool of them to give you your money back. as for a better mount my friend did one for his bike that was done from an old metal S wrench that was all rusty. very cool and strong
