Well not a fixed gear but close as I want to get, BMX inspired Single Speed Conversion. I bought this small my sized nishiki road bike on cl, then I stripped all the parts off and sold what I didn't need. Bought new wheels and the rest of the parts I just up-cycled recycled. Not finished it still needs a few things, like proper headset spacers, grips, also saving for a better seat and I need a paint job/color ideas. Yes those are 26 inch cruiser/bmx forks on a 700c wheel and with a few mods the tires clear. Super light, comfortable and fast. My new favorite ride cause I can do bunny hops on it.

Nice upgrade! :)
Did you have any problem getting the chain tight?

Thanks, no i put the wheel on as far back as it would go then cut the chain, worked out good, straight and tight.

I like the look of the BMX forks on a racer frame. Nice bike
