well been hanging around for a while , finaly figured out how to post , I work on a trash truck and somebody threw this out on my route saturday , thinking on building it up! never had anything but a bmx

Not quite vintage, but still a good platform to build a cool bike out of.
This bike is probably from the late 90s to early 2000s.
It does have the cool faux tank though. Yours fenders also have cool curved braces. You have some good bones to make a wicked bike there.
I had a Schwinn SS Sport that basically was the same frame with some higher end accessories.
This is what mine looked like.

There's nothing wrong with that bike as a starting point at all kid.

+1 ...cool vintage look already 8)... and a great canvas to build upon.
 
With the job you have I predict you will become an old bike junkie. Over time, you'll find some good stuff...and for free! Gary
