So its been a long dry spell and I missed going to memory lane so I found these. 2 Schwinns(1 bf goodrich other could be either),a early lightning flyer never heard of that, and two 24 inch bikes a bf goodrich vanguard 2 and the other I dont know they have the same dropout desing some maybe the same manufacturer?. Let me know what you guys thing years and makes are.

BF Goodrich Vanguard 2 1965? Thats what year the original owner says she got it.

Nice finds! The Schwinns can be year dated by the serial #'s, but I'd bet the green one is around 1950, they seemed to make a ton of green ones like that around that year! The Lightning Flyer is made by Huffman, might be dated by the serial # also. They did use that exact same frame through 1958, but a later one wouldn't be a skip tooth or have that chainguard. Pre or early postwar'd be my guess. The next is a '58 or later Murray frame, with an early 50s CWC chainring. That serial should be on the brake arm side rear dropout, maybe under the fender brace. And the blue Murray could well be a '65, again, check the serial. At least you found bikes that are probably all dateable by the serials! If you had Rollfasts, Evans, or 60s AMF's, you'd be outta luck! :mrgreen: -Adam
