Well guys today I got tired of driving a boring car so I am sticker-bombing the trunk lid to make it more interesting (I plan to replace the trunk lid anyway so if I don't like it I can always change it) I read a thing on sticker-bombing and how you can do a pattern with many of the same sticker (cheaper) to layout a framework to build on and have your sticker bomb look even and symmetrical. Then you place different and unique stickers in the leftover spaces and build it up from there till you can no longer see the trunk lid.

Phase 1:

If anyone has stickers and wants to contribute, trade, or knows where to get free stickers send me a message. I have TONS more Valvoline, Valvoline Racing, and both sizes of Pyroil stickers shown here. Also have many craftsman stickers.

Finally got some time to do the hood, I decided not to do the entire hood to save stickers and to instead follow the body lines for a cleaner look and just trim as I went. Looks good. Now waiting to get more stickers so I can do the roof between the black strips. Then I'm going to tint the rims with a black chrome effect to darken them up a bit and add a wing on the back. I can't stand plain white cars. It's starting to look less like a refrigerator and more like something fun.

I got the roof done how I wanted, Went a little more controlled and less random on the roof. I still have enough stickers to sticker-bomb a big rig tractor AND trailer so if anyone wants to trade stickers for more variety or wants some stickers let me know. Now I'm waiting to get the money for a cheap aluminum wing... then the engine mods begin.

I also sticker-bombed my door trim to match the outside. (The woodgrain was starting to fade and look bad so I thought I'd dress it up a bit. Yeah my armrest has seen better days.

Just did my first oil change on my new used car. Why have I waited this long you might ask? I'll tell you. My uncle showed me a trick with used cars. He said if the oil in it doesn't look too bad put a quart of good oil and half a bottle of Z-max in with it and the other half bottle of Z-max in the gas tank when you buy it, drive it normally for 2 weeks, (I have waited longer because I really don't drive it that much) then do a full oil change with filter after getting the engine up to temp.

What it does is simple, think automotive enema. It cleans out the sludge, grime, and carbon deposits from inside the engine and the oil and sludge will come out like it just ate at Taco Bell. I chopped the old oil filter and inspected the old oil and there were no metal particles in it so that's good. I put some fresh Valvoline Max life in it and screwed on a new Motorcraft filter and she's purring like a kitten and seems to be running much better. I also love how Ford decided to put the oil filter right in the front so it is easy to change. Thank you Ford engineer that thought of that.

The tbird tail lights will swap, but for headlights, you'd need to swap the whole front end. The tbird and mark viii had v8s, sure you could swap one, didnt know the cougar never had one. You can build a pretty good v6 as long as you know what parts to get, and what family. Theres Essex, Duratech, Cologne, and one more I cant remember. The Rosion is an american supercar that uses a twin turbo duratec like the Taurus/Sable used. I'd use or start with the truck 4.2, Mustanh heads, I think one of the cars that uses the v6 in your car has header style manifolds, find out which has the best intake, which could be the windstar or f150. MM&FF has an article in an old issue about a v6 fox4 built up supercharged and I think runs low tens.

I was dissapointed that the mn12 cars have macpherson strut front ends. They weigh as much as the fox4s, and with the irs could be a better car for performance than the mustang. They were numbed down so they wouldn't be on par. Not sure about the supercoupe and xr7, but the v8 cars have an 8.8 center section. the Mark viii has aluminum control arms.

I was trying out my new Droid Maxx phone and figured I'd shoot a video of my car I won't post the video itself here because some of my off-color stickers and hand-painted artwork might violate the "family friendly" atmosphere here but here's a link to my channel if you want to check it out.

And yes I drive this daily.

Just to have fun with people I tested out a new bit of high tech nerdy stuff on my car. I downloaded the audio track from a Youtube video showing the 700HP Dodge Challenger Hellcat doing a Dyno run, put it onto a flash drive and plugged it into my car's stereo. It works and sounds amazing! Next red light I come to is going to be hilarious. It sounds meaner than a junkyard dog.

Been a while since I updated this thread so I figured I'd give an update. I have done LOTS of mods since my last update. I stickerbombed the sides like this:
[img=http://s23.postimg.org/6ave7nyx3/IMG_20140926_234647.jpg]

Started painting the front end black
[img=http://s30.postimg.org/3srxwv9i5/IMG_20141110_134011883.jpg]

[img=http://s30.postimg.org/wavsaqrx9/IMG_20141114_110654863.jpg]

Wet-sanded the headlights with some 2,000 grit to get rid of some oxidation, still need to go back over them with some finer grit and get some rubbing compound to polish them out.
[img=http://s30.postimg.org/atfxpnba5/IMG_20141114_110707183.jpg]

Painted the rest flat black and misted over the side stickers to darken them to a ghost image.

Still have a few more coats to do to even it out and some touch up work but for now it looks kinda cool, also painted the grill black to give it that dark and sinister look. Also going to mist over the roof and trunk. The hood is going to stay bright to give the illusion of a cowl hood though.
