murray olympic bike? fond one, need info

ill post pics as soon as i can figure out how.

i found, for a whopping $10 what was thought to be a 60's touring bike. 3 speed shimmano on the bar, knuckle grips, tan leather seat and it looked brown.

after i cleaned it up (that took a while...) i found its purple. dark, metallic purple. also, found 2 stickers, one saying it was built by murray under for the 1984 olympic commision, and another with the rings on it.

all i can see otherwise is one that says touring. i think thats it. silvery sticker on the top bar.


how much could this be worth? ... is it? anything would be great

It's was made by Murray to promote the 1984 Olympics, not worth very much.

i didnt figure as much, just curious. seems nifty tho. i do like the bars.

I got a near mint 1976 olympics 10 speed from a friend, built by montgomery wards. some of the coolest features on it, I havent posted pics yet but I will soon. probably not worth anything but still cool
