Monark Bicycle Identification

I've just acquired a monark rocket bicycle (I think) and I'm trying to ID the year. It's model number 2016 and the Serial number is A0433664. Any help will be greatly appreciated. It's very rusty and I'm trying to keep as many original parts as possible. It has been run over by a car, but the frame is still straight.

Thanks so much for the information. Her are some photos of what I started with. I was able to use everything minus the wheels, crank and bearings. I did have to cut off some of the rear fender. Thanks again for your help.
