milatry theme/ tribute to granparents updated 6/12

Throwing my hat on to the ring here's the bike as it sits now. The little work I did on it I did before the start of the contest, not sure if that disqualifies me or not. If it does I will bow out quietly.

Planning on doing a military/ rosie the riveter theme.flat green, ammo cans, some sort of gun sight, bullets and what not.
Going to make a head badge in the shape of my grandfathers isignia

went parts hunting to today did a little painting and made my head badge
my grandfather was in the 28th infantry division so i used his insignia for the head badge, he was also a brick layer so the keystone design has dual meaning.

next picked up some dud hand grenades that im going to use for grips

just gotta make the holes bigger

then some ammo cans,going to either cut out the insignia out of the cans and put in a light or something similar with rosie the riviter in honor of my grandma who was a welder during ww2

front fender

fork not sure about the color may go with something lighter

frame

not sure of a name yet maybe keystone krusier, any ideas

since it was a bare frame to start with i think no harm no foul. as for the theme i salute you

Nice frame, nice concept. A clean frame is not built. Build on.

well you could always go with the 2nd armored divisions insignia.......

although it would need a tank :wink:
