Hi,

I'm new here on this forum. Naturally I'm a cyclist because I'm from the the Netherlands. I own around 10 bikes at this moment.
I've been involved with building and restoring bikes since roughly 3 years. Until now I mainly build racing bicycles which are very popular here in the Netherlands.Being from the Netherlands I would like to start apologizing for mistakes in my english.

Now I'm going to try and rebuild the kind of bike I had as a kid. The frame is a n.o.s german made orange Kalkhoff. Al the rest of the parts I have to decide and find and this forum is the main inspiration for that.

I'm now going to figure out how to post pictures…..

Welcome!
Don't forget to introduce yourself in the "Intros" thread on the Main forum... Pics from Photobucket work well enough... if you join here and become a pro member, I think you can post pics directly from your computer...
You should edit your title on this thread also to say the class and Bike name...Something like... (MBBO class 1) "The Kalkhoff King" ... assuming you're not going to cut and weld on the frame.

Carl.

Half of us don't do English so well either, and we live here!

Flickr is easy for posting photos!

Just open the photo you want and you will see three icons on the lower right hand side: A Star, a Bent arrow and a download symbol.

Click on the bent arrow.

Select BBCode.

Set the size you want to use, I recommend medium 640, it will save your settings for future times.

Copy the code that comes up. (Ctrl C)

Paste the code directly into your post, no need for image tags or anything else. (Ctrl V)

Welcome to the build-off! Don't forget to check the rules here:
