not that i can buy it now, but i'm searching for when/if i get a chance.

just as described. it's a sprocket for a one piece crank, that looks like a lowrider type wire wheel. i saw one once log ago in a mag or online, but i don't remember where and haven't found a site yet that has one.

anyone know what i'm talking about? thanks.

Phil,Yeah I know what you are thinking about.I saw it too somewhere.

If I remember correctly (I got a swiss cheese memory)...

It was an oriental guy that made that chrome spoked cog.

I could be Wrong...I could be Right

It Was WAY COOL!

thanks for the interest.

it looked even more like a wire wheel than this. i mean it had spoke nipples on the outer edge, and hooked (i think) ends connecting the middle, with a crossed pattern like a wire wheel would actually have. i don't know if it was all functional or not (like one piece machined to look like that), but it had more the look of a wire wheel.

Dont make me surf the 'net to find a pic of it...

For the Love of Mike i cant remember where I saw it.

Awesome, when you find it I might be interested in one.

no, this one was for sale i think. i'm pretty sure i saw it in a lowrider bicycle mag some years back. now that i think on it, i may see if i can find a current bike mag (or a regular lowrider mag if they're not made anymore or i can't find the bike one), and look though the vendor ads. maybe there's vendors there that aren't on the net, or don't come up on the first pages of a search.

are you talking about Warren Wong? I know he relaced wheels in crazy patterns, but do not know if he made other parts.

Do you mean this one? Second column from the left, 4th sprocket down:

that's not it, but it was a lot like that (shoot, if i could get that one i'd take it and rework the bike to use it). the one i'm remembering is/was a one piece crank sproket, with thicker spokes.
