Did Krates (including remakes) ever come without the drum-brake hub in the front? Reason I ask is I bought what was listed as a 1999 Krate wheel/tire combo on eBay to use on my Swingbike. Got the wheel and it wouldn't work (3/8" axle instead of 5/16", and the hub was too wide), but I did take the tire and tube and mount them on something that would work.
Anyhow, I have this 16" wheel left over that is in pretty dang good shape, and I can't use it. Before I go around saying it's a Schwinn Krate repro wheel when I try to sell it, I want to make sure that it correct.
