Im rocking original S-7 26" rims on my 1961 Schwinn "American" right now. The front S-7 rim and tire look fine. But the rear S-7 tire looks sooo wimpy lol. I wanna slap on a 26" Jerald slick in the rear! Would 26" Jerald's would fit an S-7 rim!? I'd like to try but I don't think it's possible. So I am considering copping a S-2 complete w/hub, etc. (to keep it Schwinn) set up in the rear w/ a 26" Jerald.... Im going for that drag race LQQk, hence I dont want my cruiser looking like an old man's bike LOL!
Any feedback on this set up!?
