I have been after a '46 ladies Roadmaster for a while now for one reason, well maybe two. The wheelset! Oh and stem, and sprocket, and the chain. The bike was originally way overpriced, even with the nice paint and parts. A year and a bit later I made an offer on it. I will get better pics of the bike. Picked it up yesterday and began the pillaging. I didn't clean any of the paint on the bike either. The Morrow hub says P1 on it so I got the date from there. The tires still have the nubs on them, hold air and have some sidewall cracking. The rear is a Uniroyal Chain and the front is a General Silent Safety. The bike is being revived with some new parts for one of my neighbours. She will be using it to get around Toronto when she moves.
