brakes are overrated. :lol: I've put some miles on my bike, in traffic and what have you, and haven't been worried about being brakeless one little bit.

if ya build your bikes low enough, theres no need for brakes.

if required stopping power is needed, just cram set peddle into the ground. (if there low enough, its easy as pie with no risk of injury)
also works great for putting the fear of god into any sidewalkin folk you happen't to sneak up behind.

that being said, i do believe bikes require brakes by law.
