This is my second attempt to build a cruiser.

It has an overal industrial styling.

It features a leaf spring front end and saddle

drumbrake activated by pullrods

sturmey archer 3 speed activated by pullrods

the front end is supported by welded in front hubs for bearrings

The bike is currently in it's testing phase. Later on i'm gonna paint it flat bordeaux red. (like the rim on the rear wheel) I'm gonna turn some wooden grips and a wooden shifter knob.

here you can see the shifter

The bike rides very smooth, much like a citroen ds (if you have ever ridden one?) I will keep you posted!

Very creative!..........Keep us updated!

Nice! I really like how the reversed front forks match the lines on the rest of the bike.

The flat color you have planned should look great on there, be sure and update the thread when it's done. However, what's fun about it now is that it looks like there's at least 4 bikes in there, maybe 5, not to mention some spare pipes from the backyard...........

You're right about the amount steel that went into the bike

just rode 20 km's on the bike the last 2 days, very smooth! curbs holes in the road, the suspensions straightens everything! :D
now it's time for some tuning and after that, sanding en painting...

final tuning done!

painted the frame with a base coat today, next base layer tomorrow. and then a little bit of bondoing (as little as possible)
