I need some help

I bought this kit to turn a normal sissy bar into a
a sissy bar with shocks. The kit shows up with no instructions.
I just can't figure out what goes in the chrome tube 1st, 2nd etc.
Also it came with a bag of hardaware, in the bag is couple of pins.
I can't figure out where or how to use them. Any advice??? (see pics below)

you have to drill holes through your sissy bar to put the pins in it, but dont ask me were cause i dont know :mrgreen:

I'm assuming that is from the bottom up?

So the pins go through the tube and hold the spring in place?
If so, that would have to be at the very bottom, right?
Otherwise the spring wouldn't travel.
Also the pins aren't long enough to go all the way through the tube
(from one side to the other)

from the url I posted it looks like

black topper-pin-white bushing-spring-white bushing-pin-slide the housing over-black bottom

If your pins arent long enough to go through, do the white bushings slide onto the sissy bar?

I say return it and buy one already put together! :roll:
