I need schwinn serial number help.

I was checking the schwinn serial number sheet on bunch o bikes. My serial is on left rear drop out. It is a b161xx . I noticed that there is a b12 for 1952, b17 for 1953, b18 in 1957. I cant find a b16 and dont know what year this bike is. Im guessing one of the later dates but dont know. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you. The site I use to date Schwinns puts your as a '52 manufactured between 2/12 and 2/19. But the numbers repeat. It also appears between 9/25-6-53. The list doesn't show the first two weeks of '57 when the serial number fits in. Was the factory shut down after the holidays or was the pages from the serial number book lost for that week? Some pics of the bike could give some clues as to which of the three it might be.
