Hookworms

Newbie here,please excuse .ive been reading on the site how some people like the hookworm tires.so I checked em out,they do look cool,do you need a special wheel set for these?

I put a 26x2.5 hookwork on a regular 26" rim and it fits fine and rides comfortably. The only detraction I would say about them is they have a big yellow Maxxis logo and a hookworm logo on one side which is a bit ugly.

I couldn't imagine anything else on this bike..I think the colored lettering contasts great with this bike..
They ride real nice as well...

I added 2.5 Hookworms to the same rims that were shod with 1.75 tires with no problems. The bike rides much smoother with the 2.5 Hookworms but does not accelerate like it did with the 1.75 tires.
