Hiawatha 50's?

Found this in the local paper for $20. The guy lived about 1/4 mile away. I walked to his house to take a look and ended up riding it home. It has a couple layers of paint on it. I might sandblast the frame and repaint it. It has a Hiawatha rear hub on it. Didn't find a serial number or anything and the rear hub is not stamped with a date. I will probably take off the fenders too.

Sweet! The paint doesnt look to bad in this picture. Nice color. Yea, I think the chaingaurd is kinda cheezy too... Pretty good for $20!!!

Will probably ditch the chainguard for an older one. Need to find a head badge for it too.

Hey Hooch said you can sometime use paint thinner and get back down to the original paint. You might want to try that before you get it blasted.
