I'm Charlie from Buffalo, NY. New to Rat Rod Bikes, not new to Bikes in general. I'm generally into long distance riding on my Surly Long Haul Trucker. I picked up a 1966 Schwinn Middleweight, and I'm going to need help identifying it. I picked up this Schwinn at a bike co-op in Buffalo for 20 bucks, and I think it might be special. I can't figure out if it's a Panther, an American, or a Jaguar. It has the tabs for a tank. I took it all apart tonight, and found copper / gold coloring on the inside of the fork and the head tube. The owner before me thought it would be a good idea to spray bright orange paint all over it, not paying attention to the chrome. I figured I'd say hey, because I'm gonna have some questions.
