Help with Raleigh Road Bike ID

Any idea what model this bike is? It has been repainted at some point so any model markings are either gone or covered. Also, where would the serial number be on this? I'm guessing it's a lower end model since it has a Huret Allvit derailleur and Altenburger brakes. Any help would be appreciated.

This one clearly is Pre-Taiwan. '70's maybe.

it seems that the front fork locks might give it a little more age, but im no expert. it is cool though!!

I had already guessed early 70's. Unfortunately, Sheldon Brown's site is really only about 3 speeds. It doesn't have fork locks, they're just little decorative chrome pieces.
