That is the 1956/57/58 JCH deluxe bike and tank, definitely an original tank as it has not been reproduced. It is hard to call from the photo but what looks like pealing chrome may just be a reflection. Originally that part of the tank would have been covered by paint; opaque red on the early versions and translucent red on the late ones.
