Can coasters be added to a wide wheel? I'm talking like 4" or larger? Planning making my first bike (chopper), I cannot for the life of me find out anywhere how large I can go using a coaster. I may just be reading something wrong, but it would help me greatly. Thankies guys

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! I've been looking all over (obviously searching wrong on google). Was starting to think they didn't exist :? I'm dreaming of a nice fat rear wheel but also wanted a coaster, so this is brilliant. Thanks x

No problem, it's probably the same hub that they use in the Mongoose Beast. If you're building 26 x 4 wheels, and going to buy hoops, spokes, hub, tires, tubes, rim strips and all you might consider spending $200 on a complete Mongoose Beast from Walmart.com and part it out for the wheels. I know lots of that fatbike stuff can get expensive quick. Or are you going 20 x 4 like a stingray?

Yeah I was thinking 26x4 on the back and something a lot smaller on the front, plus I'm in the U.K. So it would be a little pricey/work out the same as importing parts from the U.S.A. Which I can already tell I'm going to have to do anyway. Brilliant ideas though, thanks again :p
