Just found this forum so I thought I would have a peek...I am 51 and live in a place called Marske by the Sea on the North East coast of England. Started building bikes a couple of years ago when I caught the bug...and now I can't stop wife and kids think I am nuts spending many a long hour in the garage...or riding around our beautiful coast line. A couple of pics of my Basman and recently finished Ruff Tango..

Welcome! When you say you caught the bug you weren't joking. Those bikes are beautiful. When my wife asked me why I spend so much time and money building my bikes and hot rods I told her, well, I could be spending all my time and money at the bar. She never asked me again.

Ha ha I have had a similar conversation, and when we recently visited the father in laws house he told me he had the wifes first bike in his attic still, a 1970 Triumph bicycle, its now in my garage being restored, wife now thinks I am ace.

Nice collection there, Hobbitt......Humm now I may have someone to help me with info so I can get my UK bikes back together.....early Bickerton Mk 1 and Moulton 4 Speed.
Hi there I don't really know a lot about old Bickerton or Moulton bikes but if I can help in any way more than happy to oblige, I seem to recall there is a chap up in Newcastle who is into old Moultons. If you need anything let me know. Andy

Thanks, Andy...I've found a few UK groups but there's only one guy who has vintage Bickerton parts and he is in the UK, of course. Been doing the pound/dollar conversion for spares(parts)
