Hello everyone. I've been following RRB since last fall. I wanted a project to keep me busy over the winter and decided to recapture some of my youth by customizing a balloon tire Schwinn, my first bike back in the early '60s. Here's the results:
I'll post some more pics soon over in the gallery. I call it Stout Bike, (perhaps you can figure out the genesis of the name) and it's not finished yet. I still have a few special unfinished details to add.
Thanks to all of you for the wonderful inspiration and helpful knowledge i have gleaned here over the past months. So many artists, craftspeople, and mechanics here with talent and skills beyond mine!
