Hello Everybody,

I am new on this forum and also very new in bike building...I just bought the same Hawk Sunbeam bike and I would really want to make a similar bike like posted in this build. Just wondering If you guys could help me out a bit maybe by giving some links to websites where i can get parts. I already checked out the links given on this post (like the website where he got the fork). I was also wondering how to fit it all on the frame? Do I have to buy new bearings and all that will fit the frame/fork? Will I be able to fit 24inch wide rims with fat tyres on the sunbeam frame? Please help me out a bit, I am quite handy but I've never done anything like this before...

Thank you

hiho...

i build almost every part at one of the following shops...
http://www.classic-cycle.de , http://www.sm-parts.net (where i got the fork) , http://www.mr-ride.de

...forget wide rims... the maximum is maybe a 50mm in the back (i used 37mm) and a maximum of 2.35" Tires, i tried 3.00" tires and you could never ever spin it!!! the frame is a little bit narrow in the back...

if you need help just mail me and ill try to do my best to help you...

Hi, thank you for answering so fast. Thank god you mentioned the 3inch wheels, because I mailed with the guy from chopperus.com and he told me it would fit without any problem with a 3inch tyre on a 2.5inch rim...guess not then. I will check out the sites asap an if i have some questions i will surely ask you via PM. THANX!! :D

Geiles Bike. Bin schon gespannt was du uns noch so alles präsentieren wirst.

Grüße nach Halle
