My 2007 Schwinn Alloy SS is almost done but I have hit a small roadblock and I hope someone on the Forum can help. The original handlebars were 25.4 but the new ones are 22.2. No problem, shims were used and they work just fine. Ordered some springer forks but the original stem is 25 mm and the forks are for 20 mm. My measurements may be a little off but you get the jist. What can I do to adapt the narrower stem?
