well I built a set of bars out of 1in tube they look great but the grips I have and wanted to use were 7/8. It wasn't looking good so today I tried something - dish of water 2 grips a micorwave and 10-15 mins later I was forceing my 7/8 in grips onto 1in bars they look good and are not coming off!
