Got a skip tooth

So tired. I swear the heat melted me I'll get pics and names later. Wanted to share my 13 dollar find.
* now I need help figuring out how to restore the chain. It's kinda ruff.
It's a girls hawthorne, or higgins with a tank.

Correction it's a western flyer 24" girls bike with tank, and the funny front fender chrome things that go to the handle bar.
I did get a 50's 26" mens hawthorne, and another, maybe western flyer 50's 24" girls bike..

Has anyone seen this kinda paint job.
Take the ruff paint off and then sand the rust. Shoot it with that no rust stuff and then put a coat of clear coat on it?
That is kinda what I want to do with these. I just want to keep the charecter and stop the rust.
Anyone got pictures of that type of paint job?
