"My father was a collector who passed away this spring. We are organizing his inventory and it is large - perhaps 400 collectible antique bikes, mostly 50s and 60s models, but many older springer fronts, and even a couple of wooden, etc. We seek to honor him with a swap meet style one-day event."

Saturday, October 8th
9:00am to 3:00pm
3709 Cockrell Ave. - one block off of Old Granbury Rd
Ft Worth, TX

Re: GOOD NIGHT NURSE!

It will also be your chance to see every bike flipper in the area in one location all at once.

Just think how flooded our CL will soon be with overpriced cruisers.

I wouldn't mind gettin the Model A coach body hiddin in there.

Is that the American Pickers "roadster" that Franky bought???? :p

Re: GOOD NIGHT NURSE!

Man, that would be a blast to go to even if you didn't buy anything.
Good luck to all the Texas RRBers!!!!!

Re: GOOD NIGHT NURSE!

There is nothing wrong with collecting - it just seems a shame when someone collects so many bikes that he can't possibly ride them all. Bikes are meant to be ridden!!

Man I wish I could be there just to drool...

Re: GOOD NIGHT NURSE!

An inside source tells me there's even a lot more that's not even pictured.

The pricing is supposed to be really reasonable too.

Re: GOOD NIGHT NURSE! -- SALE OF ALL SALES

What an incredible collection. We have a guy in Rye Arizona with a collection that is insane..and he will not sell ANYTHING unless you pay him 20 times what it is worth...VERY SAD. His collection sits in a huge yard in the dust (very little rain) and goes to waste. BUt then again if he did let it all go just think of all the people that will take advantage and try to sell at again high prices. Are there no TRUE bike lovers out here in Arizona??? HArd to find a place to get parts

I would take any of the fords over the bikes. I bet those go for a pretty penny.

Said part is whoever own this stuff was dong well for himself to get a warehouse to put all his crap.

Re: GOOD NIGHT NURSE! -- SALE OF ALL SALES

All I want for Christmas is a CWC frame Santa Steve !

Re: GOOD NIGHT NURSE! -- SALE OF ALL SALES

... that is incredible. I wish I could go. I wish I could buy the entire lot. My garage is not that big and Texas is a bit of a haul for me. Man what a collection though...

Re: GOOD NIGHT NURSE! -- SALE OF ALL SALES

Wowsers!

Best of luck to those lucky enough to attend! To whom can I send my wish list?

I have only seen one auction anywhere close to that size. Roughly 200 bikes. More 30's and 40's stuff that I am seeing here, but most somewhat incomplete or in fairly poor shape. The guy called off the auction after the first few bikes didn't meet his reserve price which was $300 to $500 per bike.
