frame building

I want to build my own home made recumbent frame. I'd like to use a few schwinn 10 speeds for the tubing. I'm thinking of using a ladies frame for the rear section and a few varsities for the rest of the frame. any tips or pointers?

Do you want to build a long wheelbase or short wheelbase?

I've researched homebuilt recumbents (hope to build one sometime) and found out huge amounts of info on the web. Just start with a simple search and the links will start to cascade. You will get tired of sitting at the computer before you run out of cool project logs to read. Here's a great starting point:
