If those Carlisle Lightning tires are decent, they're worth decent $ on ebay! They're not repops, they were made from the original molds in the late 70s-early 80s. -Adam

Unfortunately, they are not Carlisle lightning tires. There must have been someone doing similar tires as these are "Swallows". They are decent tires but I think they are cheap Chinese tire and nothing too special.

Murray did use whitewall Carlisle Lightning Darts made in PA in the late 70's/early 80's. Keep your eye out for them as these 70's cruisers are the "last source" of US made balloon whitewalls. Gary
