Fenders - Curve Supports, Original Paint, Peaked. Ideas?

Gang,

I got these great fenders with a Gambles Hiawatha I just picked up, but I don't believe they are for this bike. The rear fender does not match up with the mounts in the frame, and I do not want to drill new holes in these fenders because they are in such good condition. It looks like they were originally a dark blue (from the under side pic).

Anyone know what these were originally made for? Thanks!!

Those look like cleveland welding fenders. Got a pic of the Hiawatha?

Sweet bike! Can you post the serial number, it should be on the bottom bracket.

As for the fenders, they are definitely Cleveland Welding. They used curved braces prewar and postwar, there is a difference in the shape of the braces.

Just looked throught the Cleveland Welding thread. Your right, these fenders are definite CWC items. I'll get a serial number tonight when I get back home.....
