Picked myself up a Felt Revolver last fall, think I've finally got my redesign down; thoughts??
I like my bikes, long a low, and that's where we've gone with this design, images shown are the original, the re-design, and then an overlap to show the difference between them.
cutting and re-welding the head tube, giving me significantly more rake; longer wheel base, and lower ride height. rear end has had the downward angle reversed, bringing the tail a lot closer to the ground. Top tube remains nearly unchanged, though we'll cut out the stock seat post, move it back about 4 inches, capping the hole from the old post, gives a nicer stretch between seat and handles. Handles are going to bye bye, clip-ons attaching to the triple crown forks, keeping the profile low to the ground. Pedal position will be adjusted once build is complete, find optimal comfort point.
Paint colour and seat will stay stock, maintaining the links to the original.
