Hi!
Will a 26 x 2.35 Schwalbe Fat Frank have clearance issues on your typical, random, later model cantilever frame?

...like my PAU OPER heap?

Any experiences?

I want some cream colored ones. 8)

I don' t know that. They will probably fit... The profile is fairly round and tall. I have the Big Apples on my Xtracycle and they fit the frame fine. I even got my plastic fenders to work with some modifications.

Thanks!
Not sure if I can make anything out of the current fenders...pretty bad off...but I can get some fresh ones on the cheap!
Alot cheaper than Fat Franks!....and I've already built bikes without fenders.
It looks pretty beefy with the knobies and the fenders.
The tires that came on the bike might even clean up temporarily....the front was holding air!

I've just always wanted the really fat, colored tires.
I can build the whole bike for less than two Fat Franks and tubes.

I need a springer.
Maybe I'll save my pennies for that.

The frame is being media blasted as we speak.

Here is a pic of some Fat Franks on a mountain bike frame that I kinda converted. The rear has about at most 1/2" from top fender bracket. The front has at least 1-1/2" clearance at top but only 1/4" to each side of forks.I realize a mountain frame isnt a cruiser frame, and that type of fork isnt typical. Just some perspective. Really cool tires though. 8)
