Fake skip tooth?

I don't know why anyone would try to run a std 1/2" chain on a skip sprocket to start with except for the price and availability of the chain!?!?!?

I just thought it would look antique, It came off a $2 garage sale huffy so no big deal. I already irritated members with the fakeness of my build but I'm just having fun with it. I'm getting lots of great ideas and learning a lot about vintage bikes on this site.
