Early 80's Schwinn BMX frame ID help please

Found this frame while I was going threw some old boxes. I bought this frame around1993 from a guy I used to work with. I had forgotten I had this frame Serial Number FU5065xx Thanks for looking and sorry about the last two pics my camera really is crappy at times.

according to the steering head markings, this would be it.

there is a four digit # stamped in the headbadge. looks like it says 3013. 301 is the sequential day of the year(oct 27), and the 3 is for 1983. looks like this manta ray:

the thrashers and phantoms came in the black/yellow combo too. going to restore it?

Thanks for the info on the year and the pic of the bikes. My plans are to restore it. Head badge number is 3043, All I have is the frame and a black mesinger seat :-( The guy i bought it from had taken it apart when he was a teenager and lost the parts over the years. I saw this bike on ebay this morning and thought my frame might be a scrambler but now i am hoping it's a Manta Ray. Any know where i can go and get some measurements on the frame to find out if it may be a mini thrasher.
