The weather was great and they had an awesome turn out for the show today. This is the 2nd year for this show.

Mitch and John from Bicycle Exchange did a great job organizing the show. Great mix of quality bikes!!!!

I met up with forum members HutchXL24 (Jeffrey) and Queasy Rider (Jim) and it was good to talk bikes with forum members.

We all started out on the cruise together after the show and Jeff and I had a surprise about two blocks into the ride that was just downright random.

I'll let Jeff tell the story.

Well

Brand new user here! I'm in a couple of the pics above- I have the light blue-dark blue horizontal striped rugby style shirt. Anyway, I took a bunch of pics too, including several on the ride. Click this link to go to the slide show on Photobucket.

The meet was a lot of fun. The ride was okay, but I'm used to moving a little faster. With all the kids I guess today's ride was kind of like herding cats. But for what it was, that was a boatload of fun. I've got a few projects to work on for next year; hopefully I can get them done by then.

I met StephenH on BikeForums when I first joined last fall. We rode together in the Denton Turkey Roll. 40 miles or whatever it was on a single speed Worksman was pretty impressive!

Hey, I'm new. Just wanted to thank all of you for my Sunday afternoon entertainment. Hopefully you will enjoy these pix as a small token of my gratitude in return. You guys know how to have a good time.

I love bikes.

Thanks again,
Jamie in Dallas

He was really cruising along on that bike. Reminded me of Indian Larry.

Could anyone put me in touch with the gentleman who had the electric assisted, disc brake equipped stretch cruiser? I have one in the works and have a few build questions.

No problem...John is a bike mechanic at that shop...it's small, a three man outfit.

He spent quite a bit of time putting that bike together. I think he said it has a 35 volt battery.

He's built a few other electric bikes so he knows his stuff.

Don't forget to tell him you saw it here.
