I agree there, but it looks like they've "remedied" the problem by cranking down the spring pretty tight :lol:

Your weight compresses the suspension on any MTB, it's called sag and it is designed into the suspension. Same as a car settling when you sit down, otherwise the suspension would only react to the bumps and not the holes. While the seat is lower you are sitting in the same fore and aft position relative to the suspension pivot as on most single pivot MTBs. Of course your weight may be further back because the pedals are forward.

And besides, really? It's not a mountain bike, if it's got an inch of travel that's plenty.
