CL Freebie!

Scored a Peugeot road bike for free off of CL. It needs a little TLC.

I took off the stem & drop-down bars. Relpaced them with some old aluminum Tuf Neck bars & a cheapie Mongoose stem.

I plan on making it a 6spd with a thumb shifter or lacing up a coaster brake.

As for tires, I'd like to throw a set of Schwalbe HS 159 - 27 x 1-1/4

Nice Pug and free at that also. I'm a vintage road bike guy so it's nice to see stuff like this here. I'm thinking it might be a middle or higher level bike with internal cable routing, forged dropouts, brazed on shifter mounted instead of a bolt on bracket. I really liked the drilled brake levers. Their nothing really special but I just like drillium stuff.
